Conely Motor Sports Background

John Conely has raced NASCAR Craftsman Trucks and now leads up the family effort as president of Conely Motor Sports and is supervising efforts to move their independent racing program into the Nextel Cup level of U.S. auto racing.

John Conely has been working on engines since childhood, Conely Motor Sports builds their own Cup engines from Chevy blocks. John’s son and two daughters are learning the business too and can from time to time be found watching around the work bays.

In addition to a motor sports program, Conely’s front office is an auto rental business, (Conely Rent-A-Car) auto sales agency and full service state certified auto repair facility all of which are rare for a Nextel Cup level racing team.
