Conely Motor Sports at the 2006 Woodward Dream Cruise! If you know it, we don't have to explain it. If you don't well then you are missing out on the largest one day automotive event in the world. ??? For gear-heads and fans of anything with four wheels and spark plugs, more towards the muscle car end, this is the automotive "mecca" for one day. This year's attendance is expected to be well more than 1-million people for the cruising event that covers 16 miles of Woodward Avenue. With events happening as far south as Campus Martius in Detroit all the way north to Pontiac, which is actually more than 16 miles, this auto event is without a doubt the grand-daddy of all cruise events. It officially happens for one day when unofficially it has been underway for a week now.
You can find team Conely at the Normandy Plaza, 31805 Woodward Avenue, Royal Oak, MI 48073. (Thank you MapQuest) Our NASCAR Nextel Cup racer will be there as well as owner John Conely under the sponsorship of AT&T Yellow Pages. WOMC radio and AT&T are our key players for this event and we will be at the Cruise because of their requests. It is nice to be liked by such great organizations!
AT THE EVENT there will be limited quantities of: thundersticks, note pads, Yellow Pages directories, and AT&T gift bags. On top of this 10 lucky entrants will win $25 gift certificates. See onsite display for more information.
On the news side this event illustrates the ongoing support of SBC, now AT&T, for our Cup team. What this also means is that we are going to continue our efforts to become a Cup contender. COOL!!!!! Stay tuned on this one.
Thanks again to our fans and supporters of this underdog team.
